THE RESOURCE HUB
WHERE YOUR NEEDS ARE ASSESSED; NOT JUDGED
About The Founder
Rita Green was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 3 months to live. She spent 7 months in the hospital, in excruciating pain, with a diagnosis that looked overwhelmingly bad. But she never gave up hope.
While in the hospital, the nurses on her unit rallied together to bring Christmas to her and her family. It was a gift that words cannot express. And a feeling that ignited a new purpose in Rita's life. Such a generous and thoughtful act, brought hope and joy in a time when life felt undeniably hard and insurmountable.
Rita began the Annual Community Christmas Giveaway. An event that enables children and families to celebrate Christmas with brand new toys and presents and a complete and delicious meal.
She also began the Summer Snack Program that helps children eat everyday throughout the summer when schools are closed. School is not only a learning resource for children, but for some where they receive their daily meals.
Rita's foundation also helps with government aid,

MORE ABOUT OUR STORY
Our Mission, Our Philosophy, Our Services
A Bit of Background
At The Resource Hub we are raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.
Our Mission is to help children and families thrive 365 days of the year. By providing ongoing support in the form of community giveaways, donations, and food and utility assistance, we strive to increase the quality of life for as many people as possible.
At the core of our mission is our passion to support our community. Everyone deserves fresh and healthy meals, clothing, and a home with working utilities. We align our passion and mission by creating ongoing programs to meet the needs of our community. Whether government aid, food assistance, utility assistance, or clothes, we are here to help, not judge in any way we can.
